I started off baking for the people I loved in my own kitchen, and over time, that simple joy turned into a dream of sharing my confections with as many people as possible. I created Ava’s Confectionery after studying pastry at École Ducasse in France, where I trained in the art of classic French confectionery. I’ve always loved how sweets can bring people together, and I wanted to build something that reflects both my professional training and my personal passion.
My nougats, rich spreads, and seasonal candies are inspired by French traditions and made with care in small batches.
Owned and operated by me, Ava Hedstrom, this company is my way of blending classic French techniques with heartfelt, handmade sweets meant to be savored and shared.
