Summer farmers markets will be starting soon in New Hampshire. There are only 25 days until the first Candia Farmers Market of 2023. And it promises to be bigger and better than last year. (Which was pretty darn good). Your local farmers market promises to be the best yet, with plenty of healthy foods to choose from. Fresh fruit – think strawberries in June, raspberries in July, and blueberries in August. Fresh vegetables all from local farms. At the farmers market you have the chance to meet the farmers and ask questions about the food you are going to consume. Let’s not forget the baked pastries that not only taste amazing but are works of art, including gluten free options. Of course, you will find locally raised meats and can talk with the farmers that raised the animals. Candia Farmers Market is so much more than a farm stand. We offer family fun activities, such as free kids crafts, run by town/community organizations which change each month. June will feature a petting zoo for kids and adults alike provided by Charmingfare Farm. While shopping and visiting with friends and neighbors enjoy the free outdoor entertainment – family fun for everyone in your family. Papa Joe will join the market as June’s featured guest musician with his delightful flute music and storytelling.

Candia Farmers Market has established itself as a premier community event. Friends and neighbors come together one Saturday a month in a relaxed atmosphere. New this year, fresh breakfast sandwiches made to order by JP’s Eats. All ingredients are from local farms including pasture raised pork sausage and bacon.
