Community Table Sales

Managed by Candia Farmers Market Volunteers

We are excited to offer local farms the opportunity to sell their products at the Community Table this year.  This is a way for smaller farmers and townspeople to sell at the Farmers Market when they might not have enough product to maintain a booth but would like to participate.

And it’s a great way to make use of all those extra vegetables that you will never be able to utilize instead of letting them go to waste or just giving them away.  You can sell them instead!

Complete application below and submit for Market Manager review. Print out CFM Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form. Get waiver notarized.

The Market Manager will contact you to confirm your application.

**These forms MUST be completed BEFORE you can sell at the Farmers Market. **

How it works:

  • The morning of the Farmers Market you deliver your produce/products to the Community Table by 8am in baskets, or other attractive storage containers, with an easy-to-read price list which will be displayed to customers and a second copy of your price list with an inventory of the items you are selling for us to use as we sell your products.
  • We request that you price your items so that only dollar bills and quarters are needed for change.  We do not have a scale to weigh items so please price items per unit.
  • Our volunteers will sell your products and collect the money. You don’t need to be present during the farmers market.
  • We charge a 10% handling fee for this service. The fee is donated to the Candia Agricultural Commission’s general fund for future community endeavors, like the Winter Lecture Series and future Farmers Markets.

After the Farmers Market is finished, between 12:00 and 12:30pm, we ask that you return to pick up any remaining products and any proceeds from your sales.  Arrangements can be made to pick up your proceeds at a later time with advance notice.  We would just ask that any of your perishable items remaining at the end of the market be donated to our musicians and volunteers.

We hope you will consider joining us.  It’s a great way to profit from your hard work and passion and share your products with the community.  If you have questions reach out to us at Melissa@CandiaFarmersMarket.org.
