Owned and operated by the Tamanaha family out of our home in Londonderry, NH.
I am the kind of woman who, when asked what’s for dinner, is most likely to respond, I don’t know, but dessert’s ready! I grew up learning to bake at my mother’s side in our old Vermont farmhouse and pies quickly became my favorite thing to make. To me, homemade pies are as quintessentially New England as maple shacks and nor’easters. That flaky, all-butter crust filled with fresh, tart berries or decadent pastry cream or spiced apples is my culinary playground.
My husband Rod has the business mind and together we are raising a family of young children. We look at this opportunity as one to help our children learn about their own roots and a little about running a business. Our company specializes in making pies and hand pies in traditional New England flavors. We emphasize high quality flavors and ingredients sourced locally like eggs from our own chickens, rhubarb from our backyard and apples and blueberries from local farms. From spring’s strawberry rhubarb pies to autumn’s fresh apple pies we will be serving up nostalgia to old Yankees and a slice of local culture to newcomers.
Come say hi to the family at our booth at the Candia Farmers Market.
